Don’t Stop! - Child Rebel Soldier
THE BOYS ARE BACK TOGETHER AGAIN (if only for today)! It’s nice to hear my favourite Avant-Garde rap trio going in over the familiar clanging of some Neptunian iron alongside those oh-so-characteristic synth-horns.
Daydreamin’ ft. Jill Scott [Live from Letterman] - Lupe Fiasco
Every time i watch this throwback, I get chills. I want a Jill Scott track too.
Fire - Lupe Fiasco
Who’s excited for the new Lupe tape tonight? I am.

All The Way Turnt Up (Freestyle) - Lupe Fiasco
Can’t say that it’s Wasulu’s finest work but you definitely know it’s him. Wordplay: check.
Seriously, Atlantic? I cannot condone you doing this crap in the name of my favourite rappers. What would T.I. do if he knew you were pulling these stunts while he was in jail?
Though to be honest, I don’t know how I feel about Lupe actually recording a track, exclusively, for this travesty.
Dear Esabel a.k.a. Bitchville,
I think you’re pretty dope. You’re something of a local celebrity ‘round these here parts. You post some pretty cool stuff and I love that you have one of the 6 money accents (the other five are: South African, Kiwi, Caymanian [of course], Jamaican and Brazilian). Now, sure, there are stuff we’d probably butt heads over but I’m willing to look past it if you are. Plus, I’ve seen your last.fm charts and that’s all I ever need to know about a person. Apparently, artists we have in common include: Lupe Fiasco, N*E*R*D, The Cool Kids, T.I. and Nas (all artists I tag regularly, btw). I think we should be friends.
Mull over it a bit.
Love,
Paul
P.S. Your taste in sneakers is straight divine. True story.

I must be doing something right.
P.S. is it just me or doesn’t he look like Lupe FIasco?

Superstar ft. Shany - World Famous Paul-C
And here we are, almost a year later, with the final two releases from the UWCCR Soundtrack 2008 (yeah, sorry I’m late)! A huge thank you to the love of my life, Shany, for making this so fantastic and so much fun to do. Also, one more thank you to Ken Hoffman for getting me all inspired to do this project and helping me push the limits of semi-professional recording with a MacBook and a couple of microphones!

Spraypaint & Ink Pens ft. Ghostface Killah and Fort Minor - Lupe Fiasco
I’ve been jonesing for some Lupe Fiasco concert-action. He’s, by far, one of the best live performers I’ve ever seen and I need him to come back to Toronto soon!
