Working on this mural, staring at every minute detail of wattersons work, i gained a greater appreciation for [Bill Watterson’s] beautiful creations. i tried to respect the original works as much as possible, giving my full attention to even the smallest detail and trying to get the colors just right. attempting to recreate the look of watercolors using only latex paint proved to be quite difficult. i hope i did ‘em justice.

Jealousss. My local shop got Brightest Day in but the rings didn’t ship! So the only three rings I’m missing are the Sinestro (yellow lantern), Barry Allen’s Flash ring and this one. I may just hit ebay.

Liberty Meadows: Updated Status
So, I just happened to be the luckiest man on the planet today! I hit up The Beguiling on Bathurst/Bloor (like I said I would) and, sure enough, every Liberty Meadows trade was there (The Sunday Strips notwithstanding)! There were actually TWO copies of volume one: Eden on the shelf, as well as University² (the precursor to Liberty Meadows) and Apes and Babes (one of Cho’s earlier art books)!
