radioarsenic:

Page 84 from the first Scott Pilgrim I believe aka Scott Pilgrim’s Precious Little Life. Anyways just an awesome page from the comic, also I forgot to say the comic takes place in Toronto, Canada so that makes it even more awesome if you do not agree you suck.

Love me some Pilgrim.  Can’t wait for book 6 and the movie this year!

Superman Homepage: “Smallville: Absolute Justice” Promo Image

Written by Geoff Johns, the 2-hour “Absolute Justice” will air on Friday, February 5th from 8.00pm on The CW.

Could someone PLEASE explain to me why this travesty of a television show is still allowed to continue?  I mean, Smallville went from a groundbreaking look into Clark Kent’s adolescent years, prior to the flights and tights, to a crappy teen love drama with superpowers and espionage to a complete bastardisation of the entire Superman lore.
Perhaps the more important question is why stand-up members of the comicbook community, like Geoff Johns, are even contributing to this disaster.  Don’t they know that doing so only encourages more of this trash?

Grant Morrison biopic trailer.

I’m so excited about this!  I think this may be the first time, ever, a comicbook creator/icon is the subject of a feature length film!

That is correct, sir. I have all the Lantern rings with the exception of the Yellow Sinestro Corps one. Comicbook geek in the building.

Beautiful.  Btw, go cop Batgirl (2009) #3.  Stephanie Brown is going to be an excellent Batgirl.  She’s no Cassandra Cain but I’ve made peace with it.

Anybody wanna hook me up with Gen13 (2006 series) #21?

It’s the only one I’m missing.  Which makes Gen13 the only series I’ve ever had the chance to/pleasure of collecting this comprehensively.  There are three main conditions to this:

  1. I was alive when it started
  2. I started collecting (most issues were back issues as I was moving between Cayman and Costa Rica)
  3. It’s still going.

Hook a brother up.
