Also, I discovered this.  Norah Jones has a brief cameo in it but more interesting is the story.  It’s about a white guy who wins cruise tickets for him and his girlfriend who dumps him two days before the trip.  He goes anyway, gets caught up in the experience (courtesy of a charming Rastafarian) and has to trek across Jamaica to find the US Embassy.

I actually really want to see this.  My roots dictate I’m a sucker for anything filmed in Jamaica.

Some motion graphics I’ve been tinkering with, unifying my sound design work with some design. I took a bunch of things I learnt from Video Copilot and tried to utilise them in one piece.

Certainly not the musical, by Father Richard Ho Lung, I saw when I was 11.  Absolutely beautiful.  You gotta give it to the French for knowing their electro and immaculate sound design in animation!

A quirky short animation used as an ad for Nike.  This was done simply and beautifully.  The twinkling soundtrack, surreal landscape and consistent (and realistic) movement made this really enjoyable for me.  Really calming.
