Not a bad video.  It’s not great (it CERTAINLY ain’t My Sweetie) but Wale Folarin comes through with the Pretty Girls video.  Also, it’s nice that since Gucci Mane is in jail, models take over what would have, otherwise, been about 1.20 of face time.  I’m in a positively Wale mood this week.

Tonight (George Town) - ThE iZ

Now I have my fair share of “issues” with ThE iZ (the alternating caps among others) but there’s no denying they’re incredible musicians.  And don’t get it twisted; they’re picky, music-snobby things that would annoy me and ONLY me.  Regardless, this is probably the best video that’s EVER been shot in Cayman.  Hat’s off to you dudes.

Facebook Facelift concept demo

Obviously, as we have been reminded only days ago, everyone would lose their damn minds if this ever came to fruition but THIS is the Facebook I’d love to see.  So very clean and mindful of design etiquette.  Plus, the Live Feed ticker at the bottom would certainly ease the attacks of in-your-face nonsense of the homepage.

This gentleman, Barton Smith, is pretty brilliant.  Location-based modular computing seems to be the wave of the future that everyone keeps hinting at but not actually gunning toward.  All he needs now is the deep-pocketed partner to spring for it.
