I’ve just spent $100 of my yet-to-be-earned summer money, in my head.
If movies have taught us anything, it’s that GIANT LASERS AND HUGE NUCLEAR REACTIONS ARE BAD!
I’m actually intrigued by this! The mere thought of nuclear energy fuelling our planet for the rest of eternity would be a Godsend, as far as I’m concerned.
I’ve been a longtime supporter of nuclear power succeeding fossil fuels and, quite frankly, this could be exactly what we need for a nuclear renaissance. Read up then start telling your homies. Awareness begets action begets change.
Adidas x Bionic Yarn
An assignment for my Graphic Communication class. The idea was to take a retail store of my choice (Adidas) and fabricate some new sustainability initiative (implementation of Bionic Yarn). Then I had to create the illustration that would go on their posters for this new initiative. My idea was to show a Mother Nature/Gaia-esque character communing with nature and her Adidas Superstar sneakers, made from Bionic Yarn fibres (hence her holding the plastic bottle). The poster would then be printed on canvas in washable inks such that the canvas could be reused to print other posters.
Is a plane more fuel efficient than a Prius? Good breaks down the quantity of fuel it takes to travel a distance of 350 miles for various modes of transportation. The interesting thing is that they take into account the capacity of said vehicles and how long it would take to get there. An efficiency co-efficient, if you will.
