Letters I Meant To Send - Part 1
Dear “Concerned” Parents of the Cayman Islands,
My name is Paul Chin (government name: Paul Chin-Sinn); writer and performer of the controversial song “Cease Fire”. The very song your constant calls to Radio Cayman and the programming supervisor got pulled from rotation. I’m writing this letter to address a few things.
Casí.
Casí estoy en casa. I’m almost home. And, as usual, I’m looking forward to it. However, this time, I’m especially looking forward to the trip home. It’s been, just about, three months of non-stop work on multiple fronts. I’ve been so immersed in my schoolwork this semestre and also ended up working on 2 commissions (50% success rate, lol), DJing two parties within two weeks of each other, producing a Lady Gaga mix for a fashion show (ew) and recording for Natasha Kozaily’s album (drops next month). To say I’ve been a workaholic, this semestre, is the understatement of the year.
Methisms: FLUMP
When you and a friend are unclear whether you are doing a high-five or a fist bump.I’m starting a new running feature… new words for things that don’t have names yet.
Stay tuned for more.
Fun fact: we’ve been doing this in Cayman for YEARS now. Like, since I was in first year of high school (circa 2003).
Thanks to everyone who came out to Natasha Kozaily’s show at Havana Club last night with Little Magic and Paul Chin! Here are some behind the scenes shots from rehearsal and from the event!

You guys are gonna make me blush. Artists & Rhythms on Cayman 27’s Daybreak with allusion to Silexz and cameo of Jason Florentino!
Check me out on this morning’s Artist Expressions; a segment on Cayman 27’s Daybreak!
TV SPOT!
That’s right, tumblrs and tumblrettes! Monday morning, I’ll be shooting a segment for Cayman 27s Daybreak called Artist Expressions. It’ll be a showcase of some of my work as an illustrator and as a musician. I’m super excited and flattered that they’ve chosen to put me on the same platform as über talent like my good friend Natasha Kozaily!
And of course, I’ll use this opportunity to promote Renaissance appropriately. I’ll link when linkage is available!
We get shouted out by Gordon Solomon at the end!
Guess who that “young man at school in Canada” is!
