Sunclef was definitely in the house tonight, with the live Korg bass action and even some new gems!
Basically the best dance party by a DJ who grew up in the 90s/early 2000s. I’ll see you there, Toronto, starting on the 27th.
Dang, DJ Neil Armstrong. I totally knew you got it like that.
Powerful piece for my people fighting to live the dream.
“Our love for each other. Our community. Our friendships. Our bonds are a form of protest. Because we aren’t doing what we were brought here to do.”
Preparing for mega-swoons this Wednesday when I see lady Tokimonsta live!
Thanks to everyone who came out last night and boogied the night away! It was a good time and I was glad to see everyone on the dancefloor, hollering the lyrics to EVERY OTHER SONG at the top of their lungs! And for those of you who missed out, I’m spinning at Kitch again, tonight! The address is 229 Geary Ave and I’ll probably get to it around 9.30 or so!
P.S. Heartbeat pins will be available, as usual.
I was actually at this show and met these guys. They’re some of the nicest (and most talented) humans.
Leave Me Alonely (work in progress, due tomorrow afternoon).
19.75 x 27.5 each. I’ll say a little more about the set once they’re finished tomorrow. But it’s worth noting that this is my second all-nighter in a row and my body (full of chemicals as it is, right now) absolutely loathes me for it. On the bright side, it’s very likely the last one of my academic career.
